R4 cards are the adapters that are used with handheld devices. They allow your device to operate with a larger memory thus creating more features for you to use such as watching the video, listening to the MP3, browsing the web, processing the word, and they also allow you to store pictures , videos and play DS games. There are two main types of R4 card; the standard R4 memory card and the R4i card. The R4 card works with the Nintendo DS and the R4i card works with the Nintendo DSi device.
The R4 cards are invented by the R4 Card team. Even if there are a lot of different manufacturers today, the R4 card team still dominates the market for their continuous research and development in the R4 revolution.
It has become very necessary for every person owning a Nintendo to also own one of these revolutions. They perform the job of an adaptor and are now being exclusively explored to transfer data.
There are also further variations of R4 memory cards such as the R4DS Upgrade-II, R4 Advance, R4DS III, New R4, R4 Deluxe, R4 Pro, R4 SDHC and R4 Ultra. These all work in the same way and are still R4 memory cards, with the difference being they have different names.

You would notice the slot on the top of the R4 card, it uses a push spring mechanism to lock the Micro SD in place. A simple push on the card the Micro SD will come out easily. However the R4 team found that the spring mechanism causes the entire card system to be destroyed. The R4 card production was said to have affected by 5%. The production of the spring mechanism went on for less than a year and then a new model came into picture. The R2V2 card replaced the R4 but then another card was launched the R4 SDHC and they became the most popular R4DS card today. More cards were launched but the R4 SDHC and the R4i SDHC are the best ones in the market.
The Micro SD is where all the applications, games, and firmware are stored while the R4 card serves as the adapter. Once you've placed the Micro SD in the R4 cartridge, you will then see a menu on your screen upon booting up. The menu allows you to choose the application that you wish to use. You can download multiple of homebrew games and store them at once in your r4 card. You can choose from multiple games stored into your R4 card, and play as you wish no need to keep changing your cartridge. This would especially be ideal when you are on a trip.

Nintendo DS and DS Lite console gamers can Buy R4 SDHC cards from the UK based NDS-Gear, who operate a next-day dispatch service as well as worldwide shipping. In addition, every card is tested before being sent to a customer, making their R4 SDHC service impeccable.
